I lowered mine a bit again with my KW1's. Rear is pretty much fully slammed but still has about an inch gap. Hmmm, somone give me some 19" wheels! I can't justify the price of wheels, yet, i could just about strike off about all of my handling mod list for about the price of some half decent wheels!

Yeah, tbh, 19" will be for general driving, then i'll just keep my aristos with some semi slicks/slicks for the rare track days or whatnot.

I have a list of handling mods in the pipeline too at the sametime am wanting some track wheels as well.

a quality set of 19s should be lighter or same as the aristos. remember the car's height will also come up a little. should look good either way!

maybe one day, but it seems if you cant weld and paint your own car you are not building your car, you are paying for it to be done so you cant say you built it, so im glad to out of the vw scene for a while.

ECS are sending me out a new Downpipe
turns out the billy boat exhaust does infact come in LHD and RHD, thanks to the link from tazzy Volkswagen Jetta Exhaust Applications from Billy Boat Performance Exhaust
(should sort the occassional issues of it knocking on the chasis/heatsheild)
will get the new one installed, and take out the rest of the 2.5" catback and get some 2.25" piping straight through to the stock back box

Fixed my stupid mistake of not putting the wires in the fuel cap release switch when i changed over my center console. It made it quite interesting when i went to fill up and the cap wouldn't open . Good fun ripping it all up again in a giant pain that it is.

Also fitted a very nice mod that I'm very pleased with. For $10 its a very cheap mod with good results and i would recommend it to anyone.

It involves fitting some 300mm CCFL's to your existing boot light but the result is like day and night.
