Fully wish it was worse so it could be written off. I don't know how 3 other cars managed to miss.

and also i bought a can of mass air flow cleaner, and took the MAF out and gave it a clean. was a bit of fun, probably the most "mechanical" or service type of thing i've done to the car. though i don't know if i'm imagining it, but it feels like the car lost a bit of power as a result. i let it dry properly and everything, so not sure what the deal is there? i gave the air filter a bit of a look also, and tapped some dirt off it etc... i'm hoping i'm just imagining it.

anyone have a comment on this?
if it's because it is cleaner, it would be reading that there is more air coming in i would imagine, meaning that it would be putting in more fuel so a richer fuel mixture... perhaps cleaning it made the delivery a little smoother, hence it could appear there was a power loss as you don't feel as much "kick"
well i guess there are a couple tests i can do, a 0-100 sprint i have done the last few fridays (i get around 7.2 with my unitronic chip so can see if its changed), and checking my fuel consumption on my trip to work... (i've noticed it has gone up 10% the last year and that was actually the reason i wanted to clean it... to see if it helped

Wrong side. Vent goes on drivers arch. I have the Bunnings solution atm.

Yes. It does on mine. Thats the only OEM vented liner you can buy.

Set of 4 Rotors and Cupra Lip arrived. Didn't have to pay shipping for the lip too! ECS Rocks! Booked car in to replace window tint on rear window because it is scratched. Also booked car in at the beaters for machine cut and polish and to repair minor scratches and dints.

i reckon i had my cupra lip before most come in (minus Trent) and still over a month later i havent put it on! and my brakes have been looking at my fish tank for at least 3 months now lol.

new drive shaft needed today! .... expensive canberra day trip that was!

beaware tho, that panel shops will use farucla on your car and it'll wear off within weeks.. would take it to a proper detailer dude!

Paul, you will find ex detailer or not unfortunately the panel shop provides the products and just orders the same as many others. Not trrying to say he wont do a good job just be aware. Its very common, from even the best to the worst they all do it to get the cars in and out asap!

Got my suspension in to, minus a front sway bar, so now i cant drive , rears are tucking with perch in and nearly no fuel.

all shocks were 110% stuffed so good to have them out, a lot smoother, just more exaggerated bumps, so not to bad considering how low and the price i paid.

So fronts are getting swapped back in until i get my sway bar and rears wound up a bit.

Will post pics and write up of what iv done when im finished.
