What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Manaz, mate thank you so much for the help today we couldn't have done it without you, it was stinking hot in that sun and with your help we made short work of it. It was a real shame you couldn't fit in the driver seat well enough to have a drive but once we go to the weld in cage it should allow me to have more seating options.

I was only too happy to help! And that sounds awesome!

The picture looks great I would love to see the rest of the ones you took, we just finished up with dinner and a couple of drinks and have decided to have an early one, will try to update throughout the week as net access allows.

I'll post up the low-res versions of the ones I thought worthwhile here - if you want hi-res versions, just let me know (I'll also thumbnail all the high-res shots for you so you can get a good look at them).

Manaz, that is a very very nice vehicle! I cannot help but notice the VWwatercooled.org.au sticker on the front bumper, did you get this made yourself or did someone at some stage get these done??? Would be good to get one so I don't feel like a knob waving at other VW owners and getting a poo face look from them, hoping they too are a VWWatercooled enthusiast....

It's not my vehicle (unfortunately) - it actually belongs to quozl. I just helped clean it up a bit after shipping and put some stickers on it, and then I took a few photos - the rest of the work (and all the acclaim!) belongs to Al (quozl).

On the matter of the VWW stickers, they're available from The_Hawk I believe - do a forums search on stickers, and you should find the details.

I picked up my GTI today noticed a wet patch of road ( think its water ) where it was sitting after a 30-45min spin, guessing this is just the aircon or something?

Rub your fingers in the liquid on the ground, and sniff it. If it's odourless, non-greasy and has no colour, it's probably just water (probably dripped off the A/C). If it smells or is greasy/oily/has any colour, you might wanna check where it's coming from...

Dropped car in to get Bilsteins, ECS frontend refresh kit and front anti-roll bar installed... but they called to say it wont be ready today..grrr.. another sleepless night in anticipation.

Got my car tonight...woo hoo. As Justin Timberlake says...I'm Lovin' It !

The Bilsteins are fantastic, not too harsh at all, and the front end is now nice and tight following the refresh kit. Could also be contributed by the Neuspeed front and rear sway bars (thanx Sukebe)

Now just need to give them a good run to fully appreciate the new setup.

Softened off my rear adjustable swaybar.....Was loving the extra cornering grip but was wearing out the tires too fast!
