went for a nice little weekend cruise. Pretty stoked with my fuel consumption considering i was driving pretty enthusiastically along some very nice Targa roads. Whats the most you've got out of a tank before?

use to get 1000km out of mine. not these days.

While my mkiv has been sitting the past month or so the boot has grown a mind of its own.
boot only opens via key in the barrel, or when you lock the car it opens... handle doesnt seem to work.

Thats crazy! Were you using 98? my central locking is a bit like that. only sometimes works. :/

This intercooler install took away a part of my soul... It's almost complete except for the gigantic boost leak I have during WOT.

The bumper grinding was Intenso. If I painted the intercooler and associated pipe, it would be lv 99 stealth. But it's hardly noticible anyway.

Discovered that my overheating issue is the dreaded plastic water pump impeller. Thank you VW for this piece of very non-Germanic engineering...now I may as well do the timing belt as well.

its a must to do both! its not too bad of a job... 1 day if you take your time and triple check.

GTI gets about 550km
R32 managed 480km on the last tank lol

Started and drove it around the block, adjusted actuator but still not the greatest. But its getting there!
