I currently in limbo trying to decide on a couple of 'car park dings' repairs with the insurance company etc. Best of luck to you my friend!

All good! Tempe Tyres sorted me out.. Only $40 total, $20 for the 10x 40mm bolts, and $20 to install the spacers with new bolts!
Pic time.. Gave it a wash, finished painting Votex valance (not rubbed back or buffed yet), 15mm H&R spacers on rear, and FMIC for those who hadn't seen that yet too..

Ordered my self a Vchecker Pro and a box of other goodies from ECS. Have been pretty busy with the car as of lately. Will have to put some photos up when I get it all sorted.
Looks SO sick!!! For some reason I always thought you had a black mk4....love that colour man
Cheers man! It looks a bit 'coloured' there, it's actually a bit more 'neutral' grey. Once the rub strips are painted it'll look much more together..
And, of course, cheers for the spacers SLAJ!!

So you have a thin, straw-like knob that gets stuck in the upward position and is hard to aim? Sorry, I couldn't help myself
Bahaha you picked up on my sly humour
Yeah, things are a tough in my world these days. There is hope though - blue pills!

Started the transfer of my audio system from my old car into the bora.
In my old car I made a new boot floor to house the sub and amps but I didn't like the weight & noise of the setup and had some safety concerns if I ever had an accident.
For the bora im keeping it simple with the two amps mounted to board under the parcel shelf and a custom fabricated fiberglass sub box on the left side of the boot.
So today I spent making the board. Took quite a lot of time to find where to bolt it up to without illegally drilling the parcel shelf and then working out how to mount it without having the bolts exposed.
6 hours later I basically have a block of plywood with some holes in it and some carpet and rubber lining on it. Doesn't look like much lol. And my upholstery job was a bit average thanks to a ****ty staple gun and a blunt knife.
During the process, as you dl with second hand cars, found some terrible wiring work and shoddy cable mounting. Some genius also decided to cut the 3rd brake light loom and wire in a cable what im yet to discover its purpose.
Next will be mounting the subs, fabricating the sub box and deadening the front doors plus obviously installing everything.
