  • I know of Tempe, plenty of people have bought from them and yet to hear a complaint about them failing. Only compliants I've seen were regarding its longevity and weight.

I'd want to spray them matte black/charcoal

        • I just posted this to people looking at clutch kits, and thought it could be useful info to anyone else looking at them or any other ECS gear..

Just an FYI.. If people want to get the ECS Clutch kits, you save quite a bit buying together/group buy, the shipping price gets much cheaper for 3 or more units..
          Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T Drivetrain Clutch ES#125 Stage 1 Clutch Kit - Steel Flywheel (14lbs.) - ESR198031S1

1 kit with shipping to Sydney AUST is $495.11 ea, but 4 kits is only $409.73 ea, a pretty decent saving.. !! If you looked at shipping alone, you're looking at ~$195.16 ea shipping for 1 kit, or $109.78 ea for 4 kits .. that's like 45% off..

Mine are OK but the finish has dulled a little, has those white squiggly lines near the edges of each spoke.

Cheap enough to not get too peeved when hitting a curb.

                  Yours is crappy too?

My knob is so loose it feels like a thin straw in a bucket of cream.....(mirror control knob that is!)
Mine loves to get stuck in the upward position. Makes it hard to aim....when I'm readjusting my mirrors to park next to curbs.

Mine just broke clean off when I pushed down to adjust for reverse. No warning at all. I drove around with the mirrors half dipped for a week or 2 until I fixed it. Check out my DIY it may be what you need also.

                    • I FINALLY got me some spacers!! 15mm H&R hubcentric 5x100 wheel spacers to go on the rear wheels. Thanks Slaj!

Only prob, I don't have any extended bolts so I can put the damn things on asap!!

Anyone know of anywhere in Sydney that I can buy some well priced wheel bolts today?!?! The ones that are on the car now are 28mm, so add 15mm, and I'm looking for ~43mm I guess. But it looks like there's mainly 40mm or 45mm available?? Which size thread should I go for? Dylan?

Basically, I guess I'm looking for: 14x1.5, Conical, 40-45mm thread..

Can't wait to get these bad boys on..

So you have a thin, straw-like knob that gets stuck in the upward position and is hard to aim? Sorry, I couldn't help myself

                              • I installed a Motorola TK30 Bluetooth kit in my Bora. It can connect to my phone and media device at the same time and manage calls music simultaneously.
I was feeling high after the installation but than I noticed somebody who had parked next to me banged their door into my door and left a noticeable dent. I'm Pissed off.
