What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

If they're 7" wheels, then stick with the 225/45R17 size. If they're 7.5" wheels, then you can safely go to 235/45R17 - a much cheaper fitment as it's much more common here in Australia (common size for SV6 Commodores and XR6 Falcons to start with), and you'll actually correct the under-reading of the speedo too.

My estimate depending on how hard it is to replace is around a grand at least $300 for the shaft i found. Almost fixed the slop in the shifter as well by doing this but ****.

Got it from eBay, it was quite cheap $400 for front and back r32 look bumpers

is that the after half of the shift in the second photo...? whoops.

hmmm unsure on the bumper... not sure if its something to do with the headlights being small compared to the mk5 ones.
looks like a good fit though for something aftermarket! more pics???

Well I washed my Bora this weekend and cleaned out the interior as I am selling it, I have too many vehicles (4 to be exact) and only 2 licensed drivers in the house.
so 2001 V6 4mo, in basic black with Oettinger skirts, bib and spoiler. interior needs a bit of cosmetic finesse but mechanically it is sound, just spent $2k on sump, radiator and cooling system, recently serviced including haldex oil and filter plus diff oil
all the usual fruit plus 2 extra front door inners complete with Bose speakers, switches etc, spare center console with OE CD and climate control unit. Lowered springs plus I have a badge less grill to throw in.
asking the general public $10k but $8k ono to anyone on the forums. It used to belong to Dub Toffee.

i think the back looks good, not as out of place as id thought it would look. needs some moar lows though and some wider wheels and it'll look sick. is it a gti?
