    • In an attempt to get my avg consumption under 11.5l/100 - i removed my pod and put the airbox back in. Also bought a K&N high flow panel filter to fit.

          Yeah. I have no real basis for confirming it will affect it in anyway, but as its a ~20 min swap, I thought it was worth a go.

            Iv thought about doing the same but the induction sound when reving out is stopping me.

              Yeah, see, there may be a counter affect of removing the pod - I'm now driving a little harder to get the car to make *any* kind of noise.

              • Took mine in to try to track down the annoying noise in the drive train. It seems to be coming from the tri star on the left of the gearbox.
                But nothing conclusive. It goes back next week when there is more hoist time. The axles will be removed from the box to isolate things a bit.

                I also noticed the bolt holding the swaybar drop link to the control arm was missing, that was a quick fix.

                  • finally got a major service done, plus a few sensors fixed- and alot of other things fixed that im still finding out now. thanks to the boys at elite euro! ubers runnin smooth again!

                    • Got a delivery!! Lito sent me a new ECU with APR Stage 1 already loaded!.... And an Audi DV... Thanks Lito!!! Can't wait to get it installed!!

                      Any advice on what I've got to do with VAGCOM to swap the ECUs Gav or Jimmy?

                            Long story short, initially it dropped a washer or something inside between R & 1st. That was repaired, and then about 6 weeks later 5th sheered off the other end while I was cruising on highway. May or may not have been a result of the first repairs when it was stripped down and reassembled, result was it got replaced with a 2ndhand EVS off another wreck under insurance.

                                Do you mean insurance from the gearbox repairers?
