Catalytic Converters became standard on Falcons mid 1980s I'm sure Its an ADR I think it started on the XF.

I'm not very tall, only about 180cm. I won't need the seat pushed back very far so I'm guessing that gets rid of the back seat cramped up issue, unless they're like that normally. I'm sure it won't be too bad though As long as it isn't like a 2+2 Coupe haha. Also, I'm the tallest in the family by far, so if I have my parents and my sister in the car, they're all short so should fit in nicely without being cramped up hopefully

Might be those mufflers that alter flow depending on how you drive the car for quietness at cruising speed or note when gunning the crap out of it etc, they're on the new GT.

It may be though that the VW catalytic converter is of a more advanced design perhaps?

It was something to do with replacing the exhaust, maybe he was talking about the cat sensors or something.

I have a 99 v5, very happy with the car indeed, no problems, servicing not to expensive (Volkspower) and decent performance. Stick a $100 K&N Panelfilter in it and it breaths and sounds better.

i know its very subjective, but the V5 has a great sound to it with a nice zorst. of course the 6cyl sounds amazing too, just saying the V5 (rare) has a nice sound.
