  • Chains & tensioners AUE vr6 cost Brisbane

    Hi all
Anyone know the cost and who could replace the chains and tensioners in Brisbane ?
I looked into buying the parts a while back but one of the tensioners was simply unavailable from anywhere

    Any advise would be welcome

Buy the parts overseas. Way cheaper, link below. These guys have an eBay shop or you could be direct from them. Complete chain kit

I'm Sydney so I can't offer you any advice on who to use up there. Only that you need to find a VAG garage, I wouldn't trust a regular mechanic to do it.

Based on my experience after buying a LUK clutch kit, if you buy parts overseas likelihood is no one will fit them for you locally.

I ended up fitting the clutch myself (as well as lots of other stuff). Broke my relationship with a good mechanic and took me a few months.

        I learned a lot:
