  • FS Bora 4mo, lots of R32 kit, TAS

    Hi,

    UPDATED 4th NOVEMBER 2021

    Unfortunately I need to sell my precious Bora. Its a 2002 Bora 4mo. I've owned it since November 2015. It has;

    - Mk4 r32 suspension with polybushed front control arms,
    - R32 steering rack
    - R32 brakes, recent discs and EBC red stuff pads
    - R32 interior including seats, brushed dash trim, gear lever and steering wheel,
    - R32 wheels.
    - 034 Street density motor and trans mounts
    - Polybushed dogbone mount
    - 4 new tyres 2 weeks ago with wheel alignment
    - Cam chains, tensioners, water pump, clutch and dual mass flywheel replaced in 2016 at approx 240k.
    - Now on 312k

It has extensive service history from new including many new genuine VW parts through my ownership. Always run on 98, all services using quality fully synthetic oil and VW fluids for the Haldex and rear diff.

It does have a couple of dents, stone chips on the bonnet and the aircon needs a new compressor. Overall it presents very well and is cleaned weekly and clay bared twice a year.

I'll also include a low km, complete rear end including diff, Haldex and cradle.

Looking for $6,500. Located Montrose Tas 7010.

I can email more pictures if you're interested.

Yeah, although I'm not trying very hard . It's unlikely to sell with over 300k on the clock, so I'll most likely keep it. My wife really needs a better daily though i.e. small, auto and economical!

Tassie shouldn't be a problem. Be a nice drive back to NSW.

How much better is the R32 suspension over original?

Massive improvement for such a cheap upgrade, assuming you can find low kms second hand parts......

I should mention the cam chains, guides and tensioners were all replaced approx. 3 years ago along with the clutch and dual mass flywheel, rear main seal etc. I'm about to replace the radiator too, as it's stated to weep in one corner. Oh new power steering pump and high pressure hose as well, both genuine VW.

My computer won't allow me to post pictures for some reason....

I have the same problem. You have to use the "Image Uploader" at the top of the forums then upload the image to the forum using the link the uploader provides.
