There is another one closer to you cheaper if you are still chasing one. Let me know and I'll get his contact details for you. Don't think seller is on here.

Yep full screen. Investigating what wiring I need to connect it up to the HU and the CCM
Thanks mate, when I get to that point in the project I'll hit up for those details.

Wow Bora Sport had FIS dials yet our R32's didn't get them, that blows... Love to see how you do it Dyl. Can all the programming for the cluster be done with VCDS? IMMO? etc..

Excuse the mess. I'm replacing most of the interior in the future so haven't bothered getting it immaculate

R-line shifter looks good - great to see it in a worthy new home.

Hopefully. Because the car is so basic I'm not sure what's the best way to go about adding and coding all the tech yet. Hopefully vcds will do it all.

Cruise control stalk and oem style wiring in.
Just need to active it with vagcom.
Added the MFA stalk too but need to work out what wiring I need to combine the cluster, mfd and stalk

Ran lower grill fog light wiring.
Running the yellow top in the huge tdi battery box has meant I could hide the relay under the battery cover. Much nicer than I had in the bora.
Looking for some new lights though. Anyone have hookups at Hella?

              The loom came with instructions.
I used that for most of it and then reviewed some forum ones just to confirm a few things as I feel there might have been some odd translations in the instructions.

Will do. Fingers crossed nothing catches fire when I use it ha.

Nice, one of the things that I always have wanted to do to my Mk3 was to add an OEM cruise control unit to it (especially when halfway on the drive from Melbourne to Sydney).

Iv still got to fit it to the vento. Bit more complicated than the mk4

                    Kufatec.
Nice bit of kit other then the wires all being the same colour which added another step of establishing what wire was what

With lots of miles about to be done this week I've never been so happy to see this horrible yellow light on my dash.
Thanks lanky for picking up my loom and Stu for activating the cruise

                        Awesome!

Does this use a DBW pedal?

All the loom was in place just needed the cruise loom from black plug under dash to wherever it ends up?

Yep. No TB on this bad boy.

Wiring must be from the ecu in to the car already? I noticed on some petrol models the loom I got has an extra wire that needs to go to the ecu. Maybe that's a dbw vs cable thing?

This loom ran from the switch, to the rain tray, and a single wire to the fuse box for power. Fairly simple once I worked out which pin went where

That green cruise control light on the dash looks great. Glad that it all came together without too much hair pulling.

Yep so happy. Racked up over 400 miles over the weekend so was used a fair bit.

Due to the long rails I'm getting more space between the bars than the bora had. Coming in handy already

Mighty handy that. I had to do something similar with my Caddy's roof rails and racks when bringing home a new solid core front door from Bunnings.
