  • Vehicle No throttle response after engine change and ecu change

    Vehicle throwing the following codes:

    1. 17526 Bank1 Sensor 2 Heater circuit, Open circuit (P1118 )
    2. 18014 Rough road spec engine Torque ABS-ECU, electrical malfunction in circuit (P1606)
    3. 18020 Engine control module, incorrect coding (P1612)
    4. 17524 Bank1- Sensor1, Heater circuit, Open circuit (P1631)
    5. 18039-Accelerator position sensor G79, signal too high (P1631)
    6. 18088 Reset-resistant limp home (P1680)

I have read extensively on most of these codes and I am still reading.

I know that I have oxygen sensor trouble and that the ECU is most likely burnt - the throttle drivers are burnt.

I know that I need to fix the wiring before installing a new ECU.

What I need which I do not happen to have right now is the detailed workflows for dealing with the above codes.

I do most of my own car repair and so I can perfectly handle these if someone would be kind enough to either share with me the entire factory manual or the parts dealing with the above.

Vehicle in question is a 2004 VW Bora with a 1.6L engine, its a manual with engine code BFQ.

    Thanks in anticipation

Can I get this kind of information specific to a Bora (VW POLO: 18020 - ENGINE CONTROL MODULE INCORRECTLY CODED) to enable me address P1612?
