Hmm, the Kumho KU31's get great reviews from everything I've been able to read on them and people I've asked who have them on their cars are more than happy with them. The performance they offer for the price is looking very hard to beat.

Well, I now have the wheels here and ended up getting a great deal on some Kumho KU31 225/40 R18 tyres for $180 per corner.

Just getting the tyres mounted/balanced and I'll fit them to the car myself on Saturday.

Haha, how long did it take for your wheels to get on the car?

Look forward to seeing the result.

Good point however mine wern't just a straight bolt on. Mine had to have custom adapters etc all made up. I'm more shocked with how quick Snowys got shipped!

Yeah, I've been in contact with the place he got them from, they're quick on the emails.

Mate, believe me I'd love to, but the tyres won't be here till Friday and I'll be at work anyway. Gives give something to look foward to doing on the weekend.

I want to put them on myself by hand because those rattle guns they use scare the sh*t out of me around my un-marked wheels.

In the meantime I'm going to hit them with some Wheel-Wax.

Pierre, from memory, I was with you when you bought those about 2 years ago at Auto-fest from that guy with the tool tent.

Just finished waxing, what a job, .....all 80 spokes.

                                You're game dude! Heheh.

I think I should wax mine before mine go on! What kind of wax should I get (I'm assuming just from supercrap or REPCO or something)?
