I think I should wax mine before mine go on! What kind of wax should I get (I'm assuming just from supercrap or REPCO or something)?
Mate I used some of this stuff, picked it up a couple of years ago from one of the Aussie online detailing supply stores. (can't remember which one now). In the detailing forum on here I think there's links. This stuff seems to keep the hideous brake dust our cars get at bay for a couple of weeks at least.

And it smells real nice, like coconuts or something.

Pretty much any decent wax would do though, I'd guess.

Well, I spent some time today sorting out getting the tyres on then took the wheels home and put them on the car and I'm as happy as a pig in Sh*t.

For a few anxious minutes I thought I might have some clearance issues with the tyres and the height adjusting rings on the front KW's but everything worked out perfectly.

Took her for a run up Tharwa Road which has a lot of undulating type dippers in it and there was no noises or rubbing etc.

Totally stoked about the way they suit the car too.

Overall a great day. I'll give her a tub and get some photos done.

Yeah, I honestly thought it would be a much longer process, maybe 6 weeks or so, but once I decided they were the wheels I wanted to go with, they were on my on my doorstep like 5 days later from the US. Unbelievable.

Of course once I had em I wasn't going to resist getting them on the car ASAP

Well, as far as the money goes, I guess I'm able to do stuff now that I wanted to but couldn't in my 20's.

            Snowy.

                        Not too shabby at all.
From how do you think these will look to look they're on my car now in two weeks! That's an outstanding effort.
I think they look much better on the MkIV then they ever did on the MkV.
Pity that they're still going to be a pita to keep clean though (the wax will hopefully help though).
                        Cheers,

Thanks for the vote of support guys, as usual with photos (Well, my photos anyway ) they actually look better in the flesh.

Yeah Trent, actually wheels aside, I reckon the whole MK4 R32 car looks better than the MK5 R32, the older R32 just has more character about it.

                            Just personal opinion of course.

                            Cheers,
