Did you prep the bumpers first, or did you just clean and spray right on?Mrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. Paint correction/protection specialist. PM me

Nah no prep at all. I cleaned them down with some water first and then a cloth and some orange oil. Left them outside under the verandah and gave them roughly about 5 - 6 very light coats through out the course of the day

It's good to hear you did light coats mate. Light coats works best for the finish.
I should really do this to my car....although i wanna get behind all my trim and polish the paint so you can't see brown layers of gunk around my bumper edges! *shakes fist*Mrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. Paint correction/protection specialist. PM me

Nice work mate, I did a similar thing with VHT hood and bumper paint, was a pain in the a$$ with all the masking etc but came out great much like yours. Takes a while to do but worth the effort IMO. Wash n go with that stuff on, no more armor-alling woot!2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!

I want to take off the front bumper bar, the rear bumper bar and the VR6 trims on the doors next and paint them up too. Any one have any tips on getting these off the car??
Also does anyone know a good way to get sikaflex off the car at all? I want to take off the passenger side rear arch and paint that also.

Looks great! Now all you need is a CLEAN
EDIT: Is that water in there? If it is, it's easy to get out, all you need is to pop out the indicator and unplug the light..
..and grab some sort of stick, wrap paper towel on the end and poke it through the hole and wipe away the waterMrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. Paint correction/protection specialist. PM me
