  • Clutch and timing chain questions VR6 1996

My clutch pedal slowly goes to the floor after a few days of not being driven it has had an auto to manual swap, I believe it is the slave cylinder, where is an economical place to purchase one?
I believe the timing chain does need to be done soon, it is the early engine number, but websites still are unsure if I have a double chain or a single chain is there any way to find out without pulling it apart?

I bought my 02a slave (which is your gearbox) from a mob in Sydney for $100.00 off of ebay. So that's an idea I guess?

            That's the shift tower.

Looks like it's got a later model cable-shift gearbox in it from a MK4.

There's an electrical plug on it that isn't connected, what does it do?
              Thanks for the reply.

I think it's a switch for the reverse lights
