I don't remember the last time I updated this thread! There's been so much change recently that I thought it was the least I could do
This is what I remember doing to the car since my update:
-US N/A front lip
-New DDI dials and chrome rings to suit
-Changed most of the red interior lights to green (got more to do but it's whenever I can be bothered)
-Cleaned out the whole fuel system as part of the massive trial and error I'm doing in regards to my seldom hesitation issue (plus a new oil pump, various filters, MAF...)
-New wheels, obviously lol... (Schmidt Modernline 16x7.5 front and 16x9 rear, 205/45's all round)
-Deleted wheel arches
I've got lots more planned. One of my 'plans' came out of the courier's van yesterday morning, and is now sitting in the lounge room patiently awaiting installation......
Tis a new catback magnaflow system. Made to fit for the mk3 - stainless steel, mandrel bent, 2.25" system with dual 3" chrome polished tips. Should tuck into the body a lot better and I can get rid of my exhaust which was never installed very well (the good bits will be up for sale shortly).
Got an order from GAP coming with a replacement for EVERYTHING in the coolant system, incl silicone hoses; there's a sensor coming too to see if it fixes my hesitation problem.
As for plans that HAVEN'T been put into action yet - well, I'm not gonna give ALL my cards away but the next few purchases should include 25mm front/28mm rear swaybars and coilovers.
There's hopefully a LOT more to come so I'll update when things happen...stay tuned.

I also ordered some camber shims for my rear wheels (because I got defected lol) and I might have the guards pumped sometime if the camber isn't enough

Cheers bud this one cost me less because I worked some magic on discounts, but usually they're a touch under a grand imported. I got mine from www.hottexhaust.com although there are a fair few places to get them. I was going to buy from ECS (except they had a very hard time bringing their stupidly large shipping charges down hahaha).

Should have been done aggggggggggggges ago man farout, how many degrees are you going?
Just be aware that your inner clearance from strut to wheel will be reduced with coilovers because the spring will sit lower.

Ahh! I'll keep that in mind, cheers brah!
Probs up to 1.5deg camber...dunno yet, the camber plates are adjustable with toe/camber/both so I'll have a fiddle and see what I can get!
They're those round things you can get made of plastic or whatever they are lol...does anyone have any advice/suggestions for me? They aren't here yet but when they are I'll take a look at the preset positions on the instructions.

Those camber discs are what I had on the Hecti, not bad, though 1.5 is ef all. Get some fat washers
Apparently VR6 exhausts in America are different! The cat setup must be a different length because the kit I got sent had about 7 inches too much piping from the resonator to the cat. My mate and I tackled my exhaust today and what was going to be a two hour job turned into a lazy 6 hahah. We oxy-torched the middle section apart to start with and unclamped/dislodged the rubber mounts/clamps to remove the old exhaust. After realizing the new resonator piece was too long we cut the end of it off, fit the exhaust up leaving it disconnected to the cat, measured up the pipe and took the resonator off and re-welded it.
Hooray! I've got a few pics and a clip uploading now.
