Hello i am considering selling mine only because im probably going to get a Mk6 GTI or R and i have no more room. i love my VR6
#ill do something different ill tell you all the bad first then all the good.
              Bad
-Only the front passenger electric window works.
-The ABS and Air Bag light is always on.
              -It has no heater core.
-The suspension is old and needs replacing (makes it look low ).
              -210,000 kms or so.
              Good
              -Pretty good service history
              -Good paint. like really good.
-New clutch, radiator, top and bottom engine gaskets, new break pads and disks, new spark leads and plugs, full radiator and master cylinder flush. Receipts for all work and probably a few more things i forgot.

There is this one, if you can see it:

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

The computer board tends to die and sadly in Australia it's impossible to get fixed

I watched Wheeler Dealers - S12E17 - VW Corrado VR6, which showed them taking an ABS unit to a company that fixes them damn cheap (but then I'm always amazed at the little places they manage to find that seem to do the impossible for near zero cash).

I do wonder if you could mail it overseas to see if you could get it fixed at a reasonable cost.

In the show is says 35 Pounds inspection fee but is repairable it's 159 Pounds and comes with a lifetime warranty... just have to wonder what the freight cost would be. This looks like the place here:
                              Home (US) | BBA Reman

From memory the wheel speed sensors could also be at fault. VCDS can test and show if these are the problem or not.

Plan C: if the warning light bulb were to fall out it would be a damn shame.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
