pretty sure you'd have to have some sort of front facing indicators. coppers are pretty tight with that sorta stuff from what ive seen with mates who have Jap cars and keep gettin canaries for stuff like that.

I had snuck Mk1 turns into the lower ducts before I modded the stock headlights, but silly me sprayed too much tint on it so it wasn't that bright. Others have used the stock front Mk3 indicators but had them grafted into the lower ducts, along with the stock Mk3 foglights. I've looked around before and the new Passat turns could also fit, but they might have too much of a curve to have it sit nicely.

I had another idea before and that was to cut a slit where on the swage line where the indicators were before, and insert orange LEDs there. Similar to the new Audi S6 with its daytime running lights, but hooked up to the turns.
                Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
                Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

TBH, I think the possibilities are endless. I think what I may go for in the end would be a slim, straight style of indicator, recessed into the front panel, because it won't be too intruding and won't have that complete "showcased" look about it
