If i remember correctly its a green and yellow wire but dont quote me on this. Then u just tap a ground which is brown wire.

On the subject of fog lights, im tempted to fit a set of these to my lower front grills.

Jeez, not a bad idea! It'll look better than the mesh I have on the bottom atm. I still believe the mesh looks better than the OEM covers, but that light solution would be much better.

Ive been looking for some fog lights for ages, would be very practical for me aswell as I live in the Adelaide hills and does get very foggy up here. Plus they look pretty awsome too Not bad for $15 plus $20 for delivery from America. Can get 2 sets if you want a pair, might save on postage?

Just to go off on a tangent here I think yellow headlights look pretty cool too. I wonder how hard it would be to do with laminex.... And how illegal it would be...

Yeah definately, yellow lights look great I've seen them on almost every type of car and it usually works well.

Yeah sure I'd be up for a pair just pm me when you wanna make the order.

Also about the laminex, I suggest starting with the foggies and working you up to the headlights if you end up liking it in the first place.

How difficult is it to wire a set of foglights to the rear fog lamp switch in our cars?

tried my fog light too same issue ? my 91 gti comes on with two stages at the back !! but nothing on the vr6 ....illegal in wa i think to have them on at the back ?

Not true, its just illegal to use them in non-foggy conditions (hyundai excel anyone???).

nah i mean if you have the two stage switch you can operate the front fogs independant of the rear fog

true i drive down south all the time a good 440klm and i saw a bright light and as ya say.... it was a hyundia hahahahaha was so bright wasnt sure what it was !!! but commin from these vw models they are sure bright , helps for reversing hehe cool

There are is euroswitsh for $105 but from e-bay you can have some good seconhand for around $50 including shipping. I am already bought one 2 days ago. If anyone need i can try to find more.

I bought some Hella OEM foglights from the US so will need it
