Santa came around today with some goodies for the VR6 ( cheers Stephen )
Got a Nardi 4 spoke, some sound gear for some doof doof, bottom end gasket kit and some other bits n pieces that was for the Vento but unfortunately never made an appearance.




Also got around to putting on a euro deep chin vr6 lip also a set of smoked indicators and dummy fog covers made by FER

Where'd you get your smoked indicators and side housing from? I smashed mine up in the crash and haven't been able to find replacement ones

The FER ones i got off ebay Germany, as you probably already know both Hella and FER are OE and the quality is great even came with the vw bulb holders and orange bulbs..... They werent cheap i think i offered him $75 US down from the $100 US he was asking for

I have also another set of new smoked ones but they are made by DEPO and although will do the job you can feel the difference in quality when you hold them and look closely at them

Tbh im not sure where it came from but its not an oem one although does fit very nicely. Was given to me from Ray and im not sure even if he knows where it was sourced from.

I had a couple of OEM ones from ECS a few years back and was surprised when i went to buy more recently and found out they dont stock the OEM lips anymore

There are a few places in Europe that have them still but the pricing before shipping will make you cringe.

So this happened last night.... Had to ditch the worn and torn VR steering wheel for something a little more sexy.

Yeah those are the aftermarket DEPO ones
If you are careful when you install and dont play with them as in take them on and off on a regular basis they are fine... The problem with the cheaper chinese stuff is the clips where they attach are weak and if pushed too hard they can break
