Thanks mate. I tried looking for the central locking pump in the Vento, I just cant seem to find it? I think on the MK3 Golf's they are located on the driver side in the boot on the sidewall? Also, what other central locking "stuff" have you got?
In the Golfs the central locking pump. sits on the rear right tail light bulb cover.
Where did you get the washer jets from?
One of mine is now a three jet...sprays cars to my right, lol.
Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6
Present - '11 Ford Focus LW Diesel (PSA DW10C)

Ah thanks for that. Yeah, nothing in the Vento unfortunately.. Hopefully its somewhere and just playing a game of hide and seek
I got the washer jets when I was making purchases from EuropaParts for both my MK6 and the Vento. $2.50 each. The website says the part is a Febi-Bilstein which is an aftermarket supplier but it came in a VW box and has the part number as well. But its just a washer and I would have opted for a cheaper one anyway as long as it worked. It's not worth buying from here unless you get other stuff as well as shipping would not be worth it.
Car defs had central locking, no clue where pump is located, not the same spot as Golfs but likely the same system. From memory it did work early days. Maybe follow the vacuum lines. There was an inner guard protecter missing from front left (maybe right) that had a vacuum reservoir attached, could be related.

Sweet! Thanks for that! Gonna have a look tonight!
How much bigger is the piping? Couldnt use a heat gun to soften it up and slide on?
I didnt have a heat gun on me at the time. The hole for the vacuum line tubing is smaller than the nozzle on the pump. Here's the bit that was cut off.
Heat Gun may soften the plastic vacuum tubing but gotta borrow one from a mate.
Ahk so it goes from vac hose to fitting then fitting onto pump?
Yes that was what I had initially. THe fitting wouldnt fit over the new pump thats why I cut it off, only to find out the tube doesnt go over the new pump. Gonna heatgun it and see if it works that way
