280 - 288 mm brake conversion

I have an early model vr6 and am pondering upgrading the brakes to the later larger version. Am just looking for advice as to whether or not the calipers that suit the 288 mm discs will bolt up to the stub axles already on the car or if they will need swapping over or adapter plates? ? ?

Need calipers, carriers, rotors. Pretty sure brake lines were the same

Lines are different, the 288mm take banjo bolts. 280mm screw into the caliper.
