Hey guys should have a new starter today or tomorrow for the 2.8 vr6 just have a quick question. Apparently there should be a bushing within the engine that the starter spins around and mine didnt have one when I pulled the old one out I'll upload a picture. I ordered a new bushing at the same time as the starter just wandering if its a must have part as I need my car asap if the starter arrives before the bushing will only need to start the car 4 or 5 times then I can wait for the bushing. Sorry if this is badly worded.
As you can see it looks pretty worn It might even be to late for a new bushing as it won't fit anymore the end of the old starter was also pretty worn thanks for any help.
