Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey guys,

After a quick googling it's looking like finding a set of venetian blinds for a mk3 is not going to be easy or even possible. Does any one know of any thing at all? Weather or not a set from a mk1 or mk2 would fit? Even still, where the hell I could get those from? The other option I thought of was to find something slightly larger and cut them to suit.

    Any helps appreciated,

    Thanks,
    Beau

If you can't find any, take a page out if this commodore drivers notebook.

        @ That commodore

Well I've managed to find some for a MK1 via the same guys that I got my venetians for my '83 Gemini, still can't find any to suit a MK3 though. I'm going to make a post in the MK1 section and see if I can get some measurements of the rear glass and see how it matches up, I don't mind doing some small modifications and repainting if need be.
