VR6 Alternator - locally

Anyone got experience with finding VR6 120 amp alternators in Australia? With the way the dollar is at the moment and the refundable core charge being pretty pointless with shipping costs to the US, I'm looking at upwards of $500AU, which is a bit of a joke.

Cant you get yours rebuilt?
Auto elec could / should have that sorted pretty quick

I had mine out yesterday! Would have sold it to you.
