Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I don't think I'll be going very low just yet, + my tyres are abit fat and I don't really wanna be rubbin.

rolled/lipped my rear arches today , just used a heat gun and a mallet, results aren't too bad

didn't get a pic of it all finished , but the whole arches are done , btw that mark in the middle isn't the paint it's a reflection

Anyone know if i will get any clearance issues with the coilovers, my wheels are 16x8 et30 all around.
there's no issues with stock suspension, but will that change with my coils??

                          Juzz's new VR6

so my coilovers arrived this morning at 10am and I only had 2 periods today, morning and afternoon so I'm not waiting around for 4 hours for math lmao!

I don't have much time for more time consuming jobs so I have to try taking every opportunity I can get! weather looked fair !

did I forget I lived in melbourne?
got to jacking up the car and taking the back wheels off before it started raining , raining or not I did rear atleast! I'd use the garage buuuuuut it's full [emoji107]

still 5 inches of thread to go.
also my wheels are about 2-3 cm from the rear coils. I'm scared I'm going to need spacers for the front.
am I the only person who likes pic heavy threads?
