Its only temporarily installed. Need to get some elastic to secure the bottom of the boot. Its held in by cable ties at he moment. So that will happen tomorrow

The old boot is the rigid rubber, the new one looks like leather!

So my Thule roof racks arrived today. I forgot to take pictures when I put them on at lunch and its pitch black outside at the moment so I'll take some tomorrow and put them up. But they look pretty good. Might see if I can make up a custom fairing for it unless people have one sitting at home??

I'll see what happens. I need a bike rack before I do too much.

Sure, give me some money and I'll get some. Nah I want to get my roof touched up before the clear peals any more.

So I have spent the last few months freeing my ass off in my car with no heater and ridiculously bad fuel economy due to the car never getting to operating temp. Well tonight I fixed that. I though i was going to find the thermostat stuck open as I thought it was a somewhat recent event (3/4 months). Took it all apart to find the thermostat wasnt just stuck open, it had no way of closing

After a few tries at getting the new thermostat/oring/cover to seal without leaking I can finally say the car gets to operating temp nice and quickly. It stays at temp driving down an empty street and my heaters work!!!!

Phone quality picture dump. Nothing's really new apart from lowering the rear a bit.

So the GL is still for sale, but in other news I now own mint white VR6. 141 thousand Kay's. Immaculate interior.
