Wheels will be a must in the near future.
I want to put 280mm front brakes on the GL so they won't fit under the 14s.

... you didn't really go subtly lower though did you? Like, first cats-eye beach probably gave the game away.

        Good stuff Ron Mk3Burgundy!

So back on Christmas eve my drivers door lock broke at about 11:30 at night so I had to do the old bush mechanic fix as I couldn't really get back to work and get a new one.
Dodgy fix but held really well until the other day when it started to feel really lazy.
I'd like to say, all I had to fix the door lock was a few key rings and a set of pliers.
Also fixed my passenger side door lock with parts from my VR. I never realised how wierd mk3 door locks felt until now.

Went down to the wreckers today to pick up a few things.
Got a new strearing wheel which was in really good condition. Feels so much nicer to driven with compared to my old wornout wheel.
Got a new throttle body as i gave mine a clean last night and then it decided it didn't want to do any base settings so it was idling at 2200rpm and you could hear it moving around whenever you had the ignition on.
Also got a spare airbox so I could have a go at the airbox mod I have read about.
Haven't really driven it enough to know if there is any difference in driving.

I think from memory when I had my vr aitbox out next to mine, there were very slight differences.
                  Paid $22for the wheel.

The only mark on it is a slight scratch up the top.

Airbag is the thing in the middle of the wheel.

(Edit) I think I miss understood that. Yea it didn't come with an airbag but I'm not quite sure why this pic came out so weird. They are the same colour normally.

New gearshift and boot finally turned up so I decided to fit it.
Nice subtle change. looks and feels so much nicer than the mk3 shifter. Not bad for $12
