hey all just wondering if its cheaper to send mine out to be reconditioned or buy one already recoed iv got one already from seans 95 vr pretty much for nothing but dont know if it works or not not guna risk putting it in but yeah not sure if its worth sending out or not

Receiver/Dryer unit:
No idea how expensive they are over here, but I got a new one after replacing the compressor only to have more issues. Seems it's one of the more common points of failure in many (all) AC systems. At $40 it's not that expensive and means you wont have to worry about it for another 10 years
It's probably worth doing the switch while your there too (I did).

Is this about when someone should drag out the warnings. RUN YOUR AC, even in winter, so a few minutes each week. This makes sure the fluid is moved around the systems and the seals stay nice.
