  • My $200 VR6 made its first drive

Im proud to say that after fixing all my lil problems and broken bits and pieces, my car made to Clare SA and back inc rough dirt roads.

It was break down free and I can see why people like the VR6.

Strangely after the trip the idle is a bit rougher than id like hmmm...

It was my neighbors. . He broke down had it towed home to his house purchased a brand new gti and left this one for dead.
It was filthy. Filthy dirty. I spent $500 on it plus my armature mechanical skills. Prob needs another $500 and it will be a great car.
I have very much enjoyed it.

The engine is not the weak point of a VR6 - its the rest of the car you have to worry about!

                            (Mines done 294,000km, goes great.)
