Fasted run of the day. Was also my first pass ever down a drag strip. Car definitely has a 14 in it, traction was a problem and so were poor launches. Does a mean single pegger though !

Just not enough grip overall. Given our tires were about 8 years old that could have played a part. You could definitely go down in diameter on the stock vr diff ratio, i was at 6000ish in 3rd through the finish at 150.

So I have parts stacking up, knocks and noises from the exhaust hitting and some weird front end knock, abs and handbrake lights that pop up together occasionally, a sagging headliner, a broken gearbox, a sump that is on the edge of life and a set of unfinished wheels.

The mk3 life is finally getting too me, please help.

Finally did something, installed new coils and found out why I had a savage front end knock. Ended up being loose strut tops on the front.

Got really scared halfway through the install, tyre was about a cm away from tucking unladed (In the air). All good on the ground though, finished photo is with the rears wound all the way up and fronts with 65mm of thread remaining.
