All good...everyone to their own opinion.

Just saying. Genuine's aren't unobtainable and will probably cost less in long run. No cracking, buckling etc.

Welcome to the forum. Is a good one.

I %100 agree with you Genuine wheels of any make is the way to go and i would honestly love to get a set of genuine BBS for my car, but i was just curious what the price of BBS reps were like. I was only asking out of curiosity.

well after checking Gumtree, roughly the $800 mark. but hey, as Hayden said, buy a set of slightly knackered genuines for $500, put another $500 in to get them into shape and bobs you're uncle.
just please, don't even consider reps an option.

I just bought a single 16" bbs rs today for $25 on ebay. I also have obtained my other complete set of 16" bbs rs for $450ish. Sure they need a lick of paint and some elbow grease but if you're willing to put some work in the results are worth it.

Jeez didn't mean to create a **** storm. If OP can't afford them/doesn't want to spend the money then it's a suggestion. I don't mean go for a ****ty brand. Just similar style. I haven't bought reps but hey if if you still by a decent brand, with a similar style you like, then what ever.

No no need to become an ******** about it

Nice good to see it went to a good home.
Does it really have the 02j gearbox/setup ?
Oh and use forever black on your trim, it was tested on VW plastics during the designing! Supercheap sell them.
Btw does your dad know Stephen Roser from rsoc ? ask him.

Apparently it does have the 02j gearbox. He said he got it from a Vw Bora, but I dont know what year model. I really got to pick up some of that Forever black for my trim and try and restore it and I dont think my dad knows anyway by that name?

Sorry for the late reply mate.
