negative.......... The porsche V6 is a actual 'V' shape (90 or 60 degrees.... one of those) not 15 degrees like the R32/36 motors. Which is why it looks like such a tight fit compared to the VR family engines. Therefore would not have been done in large numbers before!
I mean why would you, it produces the same power as the R36 engine (within a few kw's), and the R36 should fit easier and is designed for a transverse mounting. I guess he did it to say he had a Porsche engine in it?!
Are you sure about that? I think the first gen Cayenne that we didn't get delivered with a 6cyl may have got a VR6 in 3.2L form, and then the bigger 3.6 V6 was the 90 degree one. 3.2 VR6 was a 190kW VR6, the 3.6 something like 216.

have a look where the throttle body is. That should tell all.
