Mines the genuine US one (got it from ecs). Has a gap as the US bumpers are proportionally different to our euro ones.
If you buy one from the dealer, you'll get a perfect fit, it's about $150 per a side.

If u look at my driver side lip, it's got these folding marks from it being smashed into/folded from going down steep hills/driven over by multiple cars/4wd ute (my dad used the car once, and came back with that side missing, when he went back for it all these cars an 4wds went over it. On closer inspection the holding spots in bumper broke, instead of the lip tabs :/ )
Goes to show how good the genuine ones are, unlike the eBay ones which break at the sight of a steep ass driveway.
Hayden u got lucky with your eBay one, the mix they must have used for that batch, would have prob been good.
No they don't. Genuine European ones fit tight.Originally posted by HaydEn View PostThey all have a 20-30mm gapGarage:

Can confirm they sit very tight, at least the duckbill one. You just need to get the angle and fitting just right, but they'll meet in the end.Originally posted by KKK VR6 View PostNo they don't. Genuine European ones fit tight.Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6
