  • looks pretty but check the strut tower clearance from the intake pipe that goes to the throttle body. Would wanna some pretty solid engine mounts for it to be a functional setup. Otherwise that pretty paint is gonna get damaged!

I don't even think a car like that would ever be run properly! Maybe off the trailer, and back on.

        • Are those 15" Corrado steelies? They remind me of the Mk3 14" steelies. Sometimes I regret having went with VR6 brakes, would've loved to roll on wide 14's on the Mk3...

                        • This was the car that got me into mk3's a couple of years ago. I remember seeing a particular shot of the rear, with wide wheels. It had something like 10 sets of wheels on it over the years, the owner recently sold it after a long period of owning it. He may have even had it since new? Could be wrong.

                            • Can't say I've seen pics of them yet... try looking around for Work Equip 01's - the Rotas are replicas of them.

                              • I could be imagining this, but I swear the blue mk3 pictures above ran work 01's for a while... Though it ran that many sets of wheels, I could be mistaken.
