    • It's weird I really liked the silver one on its old suspension as seen here but droppin it that extra few mm on bags just turns me off it. And the passenger side panels is even more hacked than the drivers side

      • It's the "daily driver so I don't give a **** about it" mentality. Not meant to be a show car, just a slammed Mk3 with $$$ wheels and the scars to show it gets driven.
        Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
        Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

holy crap... i must see this car. I have been eagerly awaiting an update for ages.

also, that silver one just up there^^? HOT. I like the idea with that wiper... to give you some idea of what he has done there, the wipers are currently off and that is where it sits normally. It is a LHD car so that is sitting on the passenger side. I think I might give that a go on the weekend and see how it looks

Think he did a DIY mono wiper using the stock mechanism.

I love it ray! you're on the money. I'd prefer a beaten up daily over a trailer queen anyday!

It looks like he just moved the passenger wiper over a few notches on the pin that does the rotating. It's just a matter of unscrewing the bolt and moving the wiper arm a bit. I don't know why I didn't think of this when I was fixing mine!

                          • just doesn't do it for me.

colour coded wheels really doesn't look good at all imo.

stance is wikid and body is silk though. roof is cool too.

overall doesn't want to make me rush out an get a mk3 though...

                              • Am I alone in thinking that dude's old car actually looked better in a few ways? I reckon if you shave the mk3 bumper you have to leave the body line in it to look good like on the blue car. Don't get me wrong the green car is beautiful but I think having a fully smoothed/shaved front bumper and then rubstrips on the side of the car looks mismatched. Like the car is half mk4 half mk3 or something. Maybe if you were gonna shave the line in the front bumper you could shave the rubstrips too? But idk, I haven't seen any cars with shaved rubstrips that I like.
