Woahhhhh!!!! That mk3 is one awesome mk3.

On the face of it I don't really like it? Just looks like new paint (a fresh colour (I haven't seen pics of the same before)) wheels and drop. And the wheels don't look to be anything wood worthy?

Unless there is a build thread you know about and it was just a rollign shell and this is how it is, or its had a B7 RS4 conversion or something....

The White CL on meshies. Gets more from me i think and a lot less work (on the face of it).

Yeah thought about those countless times. Don't have the guts atm (or the money..haha)

speaking of which...one thing I've noticed, or at least I think I have, is that there aren't any white later mk3's...ie any mk3 is a textured bumper mk3. is this right?

256mm for the 4-cylinder I guess that's why 4x100 Type A's are more popular than the 5x100's!

You can get Borbet A's in 17" but they're pretty rare ...

surprisingly they have plenty of clearance and i would think that they'd be plenty of space for normal vr6 calipers. i havent really heard of anyone in the US requiring spacers for them anyway
