Looks like a VR lip, which looks different because of the wide angle lenses of the camera...Originally posted by KI11Z View PostWhat is this front spoiler?80,000km 1997 MK3 VR6 manual for sale - www.vwwatercooled.org.au/forums/f23/80-000km-1997-manual-vr6-nsw-sydney-67658.html

It's the stock NA lip. Won't fit the Euro bumpers though, unless a few mods are done.Originally posted by KI11Z View PostWhat is this front spoiler?
It may have also been the Vento lip...

So,
wondering how easy/hard it would be to go from a stock MK3 front end, to this:
Or this:
I'm guessing a headlight conversion be easier, like this:

Our golfs are exactly the same as the VENTO's (in those pictures) structurally, they just have different shaped things on the front. I think the only changed bits are the hood, and lights/grille.
And headlight conversions, providing they're a good fitment, take less than 10 mins

as mickey said, the Jetta/vento grill fits straight on. you need to take the grill off, headlights out, bonet off and replace all 3 parts with the jetta/vento equivalent. if you have all the parts, the only hard part to do on your own would be the bonnet.
all up, i'd suspect a grill swap would take about 30-40 mins max.

Lachie, we might both be missing out the rad support like Jarred said. It makes sense that it could be different due to the golf headlight screw-in-points being in the right position for the golf lights, not the vento ones...
Now let's all go research and find out about that blue Vento's lower lip so I can get one

Rad supports are exactly the same. Rad supports are only different between the NA models and Euro models. Getting the Vento front is just a mere exchange of the bonnet, grille and headlights. Same bumper and fenders can be used. Some people just exchanged the grille and headlights and leave the Golf hood, giving a slight "boser" effect.
Just FYI, the Vento lip is quite narrow, very similar to the sides of the duckbill, except wrapped across.

So the Golf Bonnet still fits if you have the Vento front end? If so, i might look into that if i can source a front end from a Vento.

I got quoted online, not in person mind you from ASV in villawood 550 for both headlights and the bonnet, minus the grill. i reckon you could get it all for 400 if you looked aroundOriginally posted by Jondarren View PostSo the Golf Bonnet still fits if you have the Vento front end?
