no, the real harlequins vw made just had panels swapped between different colored mk3s, they basically took a bunch of the bright yellow, green, blue and red cars and swapped around the panels. They all have the colour the car was based off on all the bits that can't easily be changed, and in door wells/engine bay etc.

Smeeb Cam TidyVR6 is selling a set of modernlines.
In regards to colour concepts Ben is on the money. Just the four colour concept colours with swapped panels. The rear quarters, sills, bay, floor pan etc is the colour the car gets registered as and the colour the car started out as I guess. And two panels beside each other can't be the same colour.Comment
