thanks smeeb, the wheels im looking at are borbet type A replicas in 16x8 +25 and 16x9 +30 so should fit nicely

No ones asking you to justify it. Plenty of legitimate reasons to not buy replica wheels and the other bloke simply asked my opinion so I gave it.
