All you need is a rear sway bar wound up and bald tyres although it's not advised to do this.

Only time I've done it is when lifted off the power and stomped the brakes. Which was accidental...then I spun... and it was wet, hehe.

depends on how you drive really. I can provoke some oversteer in my stock LASER in the dry if I'm game enough.

I dont have much grip in the wet, so I generally just use my hand brake for any silly buggers like that.

Early golfs often got a bit of lift off oversteer I've heard/seen, but not done.

No matter how hard I turn all I get is understeer...which is scary.

I Guess I should put a fatter sway bar at the back.

depends on driving style too. good old scandinavian flick works in most cases. Helps "unsettle" the car, then turn in hard; and due to physics and stuff like that, the back end out weighs (and/or grips) the front end, and you have oversteer.

Remember for those playing at home, this is incredibly stupid and dangerous. don't do it when the cops are looking.

Or you mum is in the car with you.

                  And it's her car.

seriously, take it easy at first, try in an empty car park etc etc, and never do it when there are poles/cars/people/trafic islands/other things you can smash and crash and run in to.

mine 1 does it if i turn at fast speed especially on the round abouts. yea i can do it in the dry to. its best to do it in the 2nd gear and at around 50km/h start doin the turn and then let go of the accelarator and the bak just pops out, but dont forget to quikly counter steer and give it a bit or ull spin out. at one time i drove the car sideways for about 15m in the wet with out the handbrake, it was in the industrial area on weekend.

As much as you shouldnt be talking about this on a public forum, it has happened to me quite a few times when going for a blat in the hills. If I turn to hard and the rear end goes over the smooth white lines on the road the rear will often slide out. Have even got the car to four wheel slide around a few corners when pushing too hard around a few hairpins in the hills, which in some cases can be a little hairy but fun

Best way is to get a rear wheel drive car

my Polo gets the back out around roundabouts in the dry if i try hard enough also in the wet, lift off oversteer is the bomb (all on closed roads of course!)

Ive had my Mk5 do it a few times, and ive only had it a week, i tend to lift off, turn (flick) and throttle thru the apex, goes back to my days as an engineer covering 50k miles a year around the back roads of ireland in a 306 Dturbo. great fun. even with the ESP turned on it doesnt restrict it either.

Mine does Result of hard damper and stiff springs in the front. My right side doesn't look the same as the left side of the car because of this! But now I know how it behaves
