I just ran out and had a look they are 185/60 14

I started to make all the trim on the outside of the car black again, there is nothing worse then a car with faded grey trims. The difference this makes to the car is insane.
Here is a pic of what it looked like.


This is the spoiler half done.


And the rear bar half done.

Heat gun and then my UV protectant over the top so it wont fade like this for a long time.

that exhaust system you've put on. How much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking?

$220, it is 2.5 inch cat back with a hotdog and rear muffler, I told the guy I don't want any shiny rear mufflers just a pipe to make it look kinda stock. Now I regret it think i should of gone with a decent brand stainless rear muffler, might change it when i find something nice.

I think I'm going to keep the equips to put on it I think with some more appropriate sized tyres they will look good on it.


I have had enough driving the golf around without my windows working so I have parked her up in the garage so I can start getting it all working again.

Yeah I think so Anthony. I'm just trying to make up my mind at the moment on what I do with them. I am going to pull them apart and polish the lips and paint the centers, they have scratches and marks on the centers so I'm trying to decide if I go with the original silver colour or paint them maybe white or a gun metal grey.

Thought I would run outside this morning and paint the grill and badge, something easy that changes the look of the whole front end. I think over the weekend I might pull the headlights apart and do them aswell.
