You had JOM's didn't you? CX's are sleeved, so you can only screw it down in the sleeve until it reaches the spring preload collars.

I wouldn't recommend it, but have you tried reducing the preload on the spring to the point where its a little sloppy, looks like some of the guys on vortex are doing that to get real low, check out the CX racing thread if you haven't already.
HaydEn, you tried all that though didn't you?

And as said, wire brush wheel on a power drill to get that rubber out of the rear guards. I primed mine after to cover a few spots were it got down to metal, and then once rolled used some black caulking **** along the top of the fold to prevent water building up in there.

Increases spring preload for more lows, can even modify the front mount and thread it on upside down to get more lows, there's details on vortex thread somewhere

Regarding rear guards. Gotta get that sticky stuff out. Use a wire wheel or whatever you can to scrape it out then you can roll guards.
I got tired of that chalkboard bonnet quicker than i thought haha.
Will give it a try with the sticky stuff and let you know thanks.

I have recently got cx's and they are far from low coil overs. Don't know what the go is.
Well i they sat alright untill i stiffened the spring rate, then it just wouldn't get low enough, which sucks.

They're only reps though, but good enough for now while i save some $$.

I originally had CX's, but i busted a front one from incorrect istallation haha. So i have CX's in the rear and JOMs in the front.
I'll give the Vortex thread a look, thanks.
Alright thanks for the tip on the rubbery stuff, will get at it ASAP!

The method foff as said is the way to go. I had one side preloaded 20mm the other not so. The side I preloaded now slams but the side I didn't preload won't. Guess the spring just settled quicker

So after almost getting defected again on Monday, I decided to raise the front a little again.could probably go a little higher but haven't got the time today.

I took a heat gun and wire brush to the rear guard, only did the front of the rear left and rolled it a tiny bit till I can have it done properly, but it's just the front half that was chewing it up, also noticed the rear axle isn't centered? Is that hard to fix?

I never thought I'd say it either, but unfortunately I can't afford to be defected at this stage haha.

Does anyone know the legality of the Blue Tinted Hella tails? I'd like a set, just don't know if defectable or not?

I've been rolling around with them for a while now not an issue.

I'm also under the impression as they are 'legit' not tinted there isn't a problem

Technically I can't afford it either, but I'm still rolling around ~20mm off the floor haha. Even have myself front and rear tyre tuck!
But yeah, despite me having a yellow bonnet, being as low as I am and having a somewhat louder than normal but not excessively loud exhaust, I still haven't been pulled over... I do cringe every time I see a cop car though and hope that they don't turn around and pull me over.
