You can go ghetto but be careful. Make sure you heat the paint with a hairdryer where you're hammering and don't get carried away lol.

I've contemplated giving it a clear coat many times, There's just soo much work in painting a car
And I dont have all the free time I use to a couple years back.
It will never happen anyway as I need to sell it.
