Car just clocked over the 150,000kms milestone, went out for a drive tonight and guess which light decided to pop on (it was the airbag light)

Bugger can you grab the steering column clockspring from the one you are wrecking? That seems to be the usual culprit.

also when swapping out the clock spring, REMEMBER to centre the new replacement one before you put it on.

spin it with your fingers each way and count how many times it loops over then divide that by 2 to find the approximate centre keeping in mind that the connector needs to be in the bottom position of the steering wheel.

Just need to replace the front indicator bulbs to amber as i just got tinted lenses which don't have an amber insert.

Which bulbs are these?

Searched around and can't find anything and my existing clear bulbs don't say anything besides Narva 21W.

Is it the BA15 or BAU15 fitting?

Should be an Amber coloured 12V 21W BA15 which I believe is also known as a 12V 21W BAU15.

I just checked my clear front indicators and they have pins that are offset 180 degrees, so BA15.
BAU15 has weirdly offset pins and I think those are used for the tail light indicator bulbs.

Anything problematic with buying a high KM VR6, like up in the 200+ range? As long as timing chain and all has been done?

Cooling system pipes and seals been done and associated parts in the system? At 200+ can't imagine it still being original parts.

yeah been on the lookout and theres a couple in Bris, I found 3 which were at 210, 240 and 270 all of varying condition for between 2g and 3.8g and then one at 160,000 for 5g but I could probably buy something different for 5g
