  • Looking good! I remember when you rolled in Anthony and everyone (especially the more senior crowd) got a case of rubber neck haha. Shame to see you sell but on to bigger and better I guess.

Awww man don't make me doubt this any more, hahaha. Yeah as much as I love it it's been a year since the wheels and coils, and I haven't done a whole heap since that.
Had I not been anonymously reversed into a month or so ago causing another huge chunk of paint peel off, I wouldn't desperately require a respray and then wouldn't be so tempted to shave bumpers for the sake of it... Oh well...

      • Has anyone used the gruven parts repair blocks? Can't seem to find much about them install wise. I'm assume you just hacksaw off the factory attachments and add these in?

                  PM rayray086.

Head work, cam and valve springs. Only problem is it shifts your power band up higher!

Oh also, as far as I know I think the biggest cam you can run on stock injection is 270deg, possibly 276.

Oh really? Might look into that, although i have heard its more of a fine tuning device rather than providing any gains? Im not sure just what i've read online. Yeah i think you're spot on, 268/270 cam seems to be what everyone runs before going into proper engine work.

How many kw's are you expecting from your tuned 8v?

Yeah mate, it allows you to move the power band along the rev range to suit your driving needs/style. In a nutshell anyway.
I'm expecting atleast 180hp at the wheels.
