Hey I'm looking at some Conical seat bolts for my wheels cause these Ball seats are ruining them. Will 12x1.5x28mm bolts be ok? Or is 28mm too long?

Question, how crutial is the rear strut brace thing?
Wanna have the bikes in the back for the drive up to GAD but this bar is kinda in the way.

After removing it and putting it back in all those years ago in my vr6, I honestly felt like this thing braced the rear of the car up, felt better through corners... May have just been the placebo effect though, lol....

It take bugger all to make one, vw would charge a **** load IF they could even order one.

And while I'm here I have 5x100 steelies 16s 6.5 no tyres and vr6 bbs wheels with tyres open to offers on both need to go.
