        the 12v vr6 engine is an expensive one to get big power from. So it depends on what youre hoping for. But if your budget isnt at least a few grand you wont get all that far with it.

          whats wrong with using forced induction? if you use a supercharger it will retain its daily-drivability.

                  Bang for buck would be to put a 20v 1.8T motor in. For the cost of turboing a vr6 or 2.0 u can price up a halfcut, plus engineering plus other costs and it would be the same but better base to work off

                            And I would imagine a 1.8t engine is a damn sight lighter then a vr6 one.

                              Yeah, I was always keen to go FI on the lolf, it always went around corners a little quicker than a VR.
